As is customary on July 6th, the anniversary of Joaquín Rodrigo’s death,  the city of Aranjuez will mark the 13th anniversary with a tribute to the Maestro and his wife, Victoria Kamhi. The ceremony taking place at the family vault in the Cemetery of Aranjuez at 10:00  will be presented by the Mayor of Aranjuez, María José Martínez de la Fuente, with  the participation of Cecilia León Rodrigo, Director of the Rodrigo Foundation and granddaughter of Joaquín Rodrigo, and Professor Florencio Hernández Campos, Official Chronicler of the city, followed by a musical performance by the teachers of the Joaquín Rodrigo Music School and ending with the placing of flowers on the tomb.
